PHILIPPI, W.Va. (WV News) — The Barbour County Chamber of Commerce invites the public to the second of its series, Information: Barbour County, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in Burbick Hall on the campus of Battlers Knob, the former Alderson Broaddus University. Light refreshments will be served.
The session will feature Cheryl Wolfe, executive director of the BC Development Authority. Wolfe will share news about businesses locating to Barbour County, provide an update on broadband expansion into the county, and introduce recent and upcoming developments in the community.
